Passport waits times have risen again. How long does it take to get a US passport?

Travelers can expect to wait 8 to 11 weeks for routine service and 5 to 7 weeks for expedited service, according to the State Department. Those processing times do not include mailing times, which may vary across the U.S. Travelers might also have to wait as long as two weeks from the day they apply for their application to be "In Process." Plan ahead.

Hawaii update - When the state reaches a 60% vaccination rate, state will lift pre-arrival testing and quarantine requirements for domestic U.S. travelers who were vaccinated in the country. Travelers will have to show proof of their vaccination.

When Hawaii hits a 70% vaccination rate, the state will lift all travel restrictions.
