DISNEYS PORT ORLEANS RIVERSIDE.
Having stayed here twice I can tell you this resort is beautiful and quiet, its a nice get away from the busy parks and is only a boat rode away from Disney Springs and a bus ride away from all the parks.
From the stately white-column mansions of Magnolia Bend to Alligator Bayou’s quaint backwoods cottages, delight in a picturesque setting that evokes the romance of rural Louisiana. Take a short walk along the Sassagoula River to Disney's Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter, known for Southern specialties like gumbo, jambalaya and beignets.

Cross the bridge to a 3-plus acre hideaway with an old-fashioned swimmin’ hole and sawmill slide. Theres also several quiet pools scattered around the resort.

RECIPE OF THE WEEK COMES FROM WDW LIBERTY TREE TAVERN and has rave reviews!

Liberty Tree Tavern Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake Recipe
Cake Bottom
Serves: 5-6
Prep Time: 10 min
Total Time: 10 min

Ingredients
1 box yellow cake mix
1 large egg
1 stick butter (softened)

Instructions
1. Mix ingredients.
2. Spread mixture evenly in greased baking pan.

Cake Top
Serves: 5-6
Prep Time: 15 min
Total Time: 50 min

Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup butter
1 pound powdered sugar (sifted)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup Heath Bar pieces

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Mix cream cheese until smooth.
3. Slowly add eggs and vanilla.
4. Add butter and mix well.
5. Add powdered sugar, slowly.
6. Add chocolate chips and toffee pieces.
7. Mix until ingredients are all just incorporated evenly — do not over-mix!
8. Put on top of cake bottom ingredients in pan. (Usually a large muffin pan can work well for this.)
9. Bake for 35 minutes. Inside should just be slightly gooey, but not liquid.

CHATTANOOGA TENNESSEE.
so everyone has been posting pictures of a HUGE bookstore in Chattanooga which got me thinking about a trip there and what was available to do besides shopping for books and theres SOOOOO much to do, just a quick search on my Travel Agent sites brought up this amazing hotel: the Hotel Indigo and all of these activities:
MAIN SITES: the aquarium, Hunter Museum Of American Art, Lula Lake, Ruby Falls, the Creative Discovery Museum, Lookout Mountain Incline Railway
TOURS: Swincar backcountry tours (these look awesome!) rappelling, segway tours, electric bikes, helicopter tours, escape rooms, paddleboarding and kayaking, horse drawn carriage rides, alpaca farm tours, whitewater rafting, walks along the river, so much to do you might want to stay awhile

RECIPE OF THE WEEK:
PRIDE ROCK PUNCH from Troubadour Tavern at Disneyland Park
Serves 4-6
• 1 cup fresh pineapple, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
• 4 cups freshly brewed unsweetened black tea
• 1/3 cup mango beverage syrup
• 1/2 cup orange juice
• 3/4 teaspoon tamarind paste
• Orange slices
• Dried mango slices
• Dried pineapple
1. Place pineapple in blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
2. Combine puréed pineapple, unsweetened tea, mango beverage syrup, orange juice, and tamarind paste in a large pitcher. Stir until tamarind paste is fully dissolved.
3. Fill 4-6 tall glasses halfway with ice. Add punch and garnish with orange slices, dried mango, and dried pineapple.
Cook’s Note: If mango beverage syrup is unavailable, you can make your own using water, sugar, and mango. Bring 1/2 cup water, 1/2 sugar, and 1 cup of frozen mango pieces to a boil in a saucepan. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook for 20 minutes. Cool completely and strain out mango pieces. Refrigerate up to one week.

▢10 ounces cream soda, 8-11 ounces works. Whatever fills the cup you're using.
▢1 tsp butter extract
▢2 tbsp butterscotch syrup, This is used to rim the glass.

pour the syrup around the rim and down into the glass
add cream soda and stir in butter extract
