Spain has removed its vaccination requirement for US travelers on Friday in a push to attract more American tourists this summer.
The country has been closed to US travelers since the pandemic began, but it reopened to vaccinated U.S. travelers on June 7th. The European nation also reopened to vaccinated tourists from Canada, U.K, and hundreds more worldwide.

Add Switzerland to the list of European countries ready to welcome North American tourists back to visit.
The Swiss government has announced it will be welcoming fully vaccinated North American guests again as of June 28, 2021. That includes a full opening of tourist infrastructures, including restaurants, events and leisure facilities. U.S. and Canadian citizens who can prove that they are fully vaccinated will be able to travel without quarantine or PCR tests as early as June 28. Portugal will be the next European country to reopen its borders to fully vaccinated US travelers this summer.
News of the country's loosening travel restrictions came from Economy Minister Pedro Siza Viera, who appeared on a Portuguese radio station on Tuesday.
"We are in a position to approve the opening of non-essential travel and flights to people from the US to Portugal as long as they have a vaccination certificate," Vieira was quoted by Reuters.

If you want to travel to Spain as a family, your minor children can also visit. Spain will allow unvaccinated children traveling in the same group as their vaccinated parents to enter the country. Children ages six and up, however, will need to present a COVID negative test.
At this time, there are no plans to allow unvaccinated American tourists over the age of 18 to visit.

Some countries with low COVID-19 positivity rates will be able to visit sooner. As of May 24, 2021, travelers from some low-risk countries like New Zealand, South Korea, Australia, and Israel can enter Spain without a negative PCR test.

No tests or quarantines needed for vaccinated tourists
Visiting as a vaccinated tourist will almost be as easy as it was pre-pandemic. Testing or quarantine is not required for travelers who have been fully vaccinated for at least 14 days.

Following the ordinance of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of 23 November 2020 (GU n.294 of 26/11/2020) from 8 December 2020, some flights between New York and Rome Fiumicino (and from 10 December also those between Rome Fiumicino and New York) are subject to a trial procedure until 30 June 2021, to ensure your trip and your stay are even safer and more comfortable.
On flights which are identified during the purchase phase with the name "Covid-Tested", only passengers who test negative for Covid-19 are allowed to board, after having carried out a rapid or molecular antigen test (RT PCR) taken via swab within 48 hours of boarding.
Upon arrival at Rome Fiumicino, passengers are required to undergo an antigen test; in the event of a negative result, free access and transit on Italian territory is allowed, without the need, where applicable, to comply with the obligations of health surveillance and fiduciary isolation.

New York state is lifting quarantine and COVID-19 testing restrictions on vaccinated domestic travelers. The caveat is that the new ruling applies within 90 days of the traveler's second inoculation, due to the lack of data around how long vaccine-related immunity will last.
New York governor, Andrew N. Cuomo, said that travelers will still have to undergo testing and quarantine if the 90-day period since vaccination took place has elapsed.
