We were able to celebrate my daughters 10th birthday this weekend at The Muldrow House! We knew it was the perfect place when she said she wanted a “fancy” party 🎈 🎂

We’ve loved these old trees for the shade and shelter they provide for the yard at the Muldrow House. We recently had them trimmed (see the climber in the second slide 😳) and they found the front tree is in need of removal and we’re so sad to see it go, but safety always comes first! And if you happen to need some firewood let me know we have LOTS.

Spent some time cleaning the back balcony this week and enjoyed all the beautiful trees on our block that are filling in for spring! Ironically, I was cleaning all the sap off the balcony that had fallen from one of those trees, but 🤷🏽‍♀️

Found some inexpensive flowers at the local grocery store and spiced them up a bit with some foraged stems from the Muldrow house garden 🍃 💐 We love being able to leave behind a little something special to welcome our guests 💕

This brick column runs all the way up from the basement. Recently I noticed a brick that was loose in the basement and totally expected to find some cool note or treasure behind it, but it was empty 😕 I guess I’ve just come to expect cool surprises from this house!

We love our local photographers who have supported our business since the beginning 💕 The house has been the backdrop for some seriously gorgeous photography, but these windows are the real star of the show that provide amazing natural light throughout the entire day!

With an older house comes a lot of charm, and a lot of unexpected challenges! We have to get the HVAC system replaced, but at least we’re able to keep these adorable vents 💕
