Prosser Balloon Rally time! Come see us the next few mornings in Prosser. We won’t be flying from the airport but taking off from close by. Let us know if you’d like to come out and help crew and check out the balloon!

Every flight is a unique one and today was definitely that! We flew to a part of town we just don’t make it to very often and we had many families coming out to say hello. We got to fly two first time passengers which is always fun! The sky made for some beautiful pictures today! Always fun flying with other balloons too… We took to the skies with Twenty-2. Can’t wait for the next flight!

Today we celebrate America’s birthday! We are stoked to keep the red white and blue going as we introduce our newest balloon: Spirit of ‘76. You’ll notice it looks familiar… almost identical to Whiskey Rebellion, it’s larger which we are so excited to take additional passengers! Honored to buy from the Ashton’s, this balloon, formerly ‘Merica, will continue flying through the skies and sharing our patriotic love. Pictured here are both balloons side by side (unintentionally lol) from the Walla Walla balloon stampede. Spirit of ‘76 is pictured behind. Also pictured is our first flight in Spirit of ‘76 as new owners. God Bless America, we love celebrating the red, white, and blue! 🇺🇸

We had the honor to fly with our Ohana Maka Hot Air Balloon family in KONGgregation of Balloons this weekend in Pendleton. We weren’t able to get in the same field that most landed in, but we crossed the river and had a great high wind landing on on the hill.

The best part was turning around and seeing a line of vehicles full of crew and pilots ready to lend a hand packing up and just to add some entertainment! The Ashton’s even posted up in lawn chairs to supervise! (We had lots of laughs but this was one of the funniest moments of the weekend!) Our ballooning ‘community’ is absolutely the best! This sense of community is the essence of why we were flying, to celebrate Kong!

I’ve heard endless stories of Kong driving hundreds of miles to deliver parts so people could fly, lending equipment, and most importantly boosting people up to keep flying or supporting them to get their license.

We can’t wait to fly in next years Kongregation!

Not quite the weekend we hoped for weather wise, although thankful for one flyable day! But boy did we ever have fun with family, friends, ballooning family, meeting new people, fun experiences, camping and SO much more! Bonus, we got first flight in… she’s such an awesome crew member & hype girl for our balloon! Thank you … until next year ☺️🎈
