Kiawah is a dream lovers paradise...

This intimate, comfortable cottage is pristine, crisp, and is just begging for you to relax. It’s like a second home; all you need to pack are your personal items! The beautiful lagoon shimmers and view of the sunset from the screened porch and the expanded deck provides room to enjoy the ever long lagoon view.

There is a dining table on the screened in porch. The cottage was modified when it was built to offer an extra wall of windows which brings the lovely tropical setting even closer to you. The comfy patio furniture and gas grill are great for chilling out after a long, eventful day on the beach.

Additionally, the lagoon attracts interesting and unique birds and wildlife; a haven for admiring nature.

The beach is about a 7 minute walk from the cottage. Also on route to the beach is a pool, which guests of the Greenslake Cottages have access to with no charge.

This upscale colonial style cottage was completely remodeled in 2006, adding hardwood floors, granite counters, and other amenities. The open area of the family den and dining area have a panoramic view of the lagoon through sliding glass doors and large windows.

The cottage is equipped with free wi-fi , an HDTV with a DVR, DVD player, and a stereo in the den.

The well equipped kitchen has been enlarged with an dining bar with ample space for a “master chef” to do their magic!

There are ceiling fans installed in the den and each bedroom to provide added cooling along with a powerful central HVAC system after a long summer day on the beach with solar tubes bringing in extra light into the bath and kitchen areas.

The Master Bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with a quintessential shutter headboard. The Master Bedroom also comes equipped with a 32" TV. A sliding door offers light and a lagoon view. The soft comfort of the mattress just begs you to sleep in. There is also an en suite bath with large tiled walk in shower.

The gorgeous guest bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed and a bath with tub + shower. Plantation shutters in this bedroom enhance the cottage atmosphere. The cottage is located in the West Beach area at the end of a cul-de-sac, which provides privacy and quietness. A lush canopy of a beautiful live oaks frame the cottage entrance.

Amenities:

Fully furnished enlarged gourmet kitchen with ceramic top stove, dishwasher, drip coffee maker and toaster oven, pantry to store groceries, refrigerator with ice maker.

Full size washer and dryer.

3 (Three) Televisions - DEN: HDTV with DVR and DVD, stereo, CD player; MASTER: 32” Tv; GUEST: 24” TV. Additionally, the bedrooms have radio alarm clocks - but who really needs alarm clocks on vacation?

All linens/towels and beach towels are provided, along with 2 (two) beach chairs and a large beach umbrella.

We are Charlestonians who have enjoyed Kiawah for many years. Hollis sells real estate on the island and Ann is a retired nurse turned walking tour guide for the city. We love to share the local secrets with our guest and we live close to Kiawah in case our guest have any additional needs or questions. We keep our cottage in pristine condition to be completely sure our guest feel that wonderful "dream vacation” feeling.

This cottage is managed and booked by the owner. Though we do also accept online booking via our website and email correspondence, we prefer to talk / text directly with our guest prior to confirming a reservation.
