Can't think of a better way to spend a rainy day. has been on me for years to sight cast for big drum, he finally showed up at the right time and we made it happen. Had an awesome late afternoon session with the big boys.

Had a great morning on the water, fishing was slower than I wanted, but had my cousin and his wife on the boat, haven't seen each other in 37 yrs, so the bites didn't really matter..lol. We had Rays, Drum and Blues and a ton of stories to tell. All around great times

Fun times with the guys this morning. Had decent trout fishing but they wanted to try for drum, so we went drummin. Couldn't have asked a more beautiful one to start us off. Their dad sent me a Pic from 2017, time flies when u r having fun and man have they grown over the years.. It's always cool when you have 3 generations on the boat fishing.

If anyone is on their way to the beach today 7/13/24, 158 is shut down near the water park due to structure fires. Check you GPS for other routes, u can go thru Elizabeth City and come n thru Manteo..

Another great day on the water. Used our to catch all the live bait we needed and the ran a few miles and loaded up on the AJs. These guys have been fishing with me for years and were ready to try for something bigger, and they got it. Lots of team work out there today between them making it happen.

I've been slacking on reports, but the fish haven't been slacking on bites. Have had a slow trip here and there, but overall it's still really good Speckled trout bite going on. The kids trips have been on fire as well, the bottom fishing has been in point this season. Still have a few dates open here and there, give me a call and let's get you hooked up..

Had an incredible day of fishing with some of my favorites. They threw everything back, but we had a nice solid limit by 8 and then just bounced around catching fish the whole trip. It was an absolute blast to be part of it

Good times with the two today. We started the morning off trout fishing, got a few nice ones for dinner and then went fun fishing. We threw some on and caught all the croaker, spot and sea mullet you could want. Great little fisherman, kept me busy, that's for sure..

We had a great afternoon on the water catching Speckled trout and watching one awesome dolphin show. The Trout bite was slow for us, but it finally came together in the 11th inning for us. Now, the dolphin show was incredible. They had us surrounded and we're playing up a storm, jumping, splashing and enjoying us as much as we were enjoying them. Great way to end the week.

Mixed bag today. Had a slow morning trout fishing, so we went bottom fishing with our and wore the croaker, spot and sea mullets out. Then this afternoon we had blast on the Trout, very nice class of fish at that.

We had an amazing day offshore.. The fish were so happy to see us, they entertained us from the time we got there, till the time we left.🤣 We had non stop action, with all the bites you wanted. An amazing day with these guys, some how every year we get a beautiful day to go out and do what we love. Thanks guys, I had a blast and can't wait for the next trip.

Not to shabby for two 7yo's. These boys casted and caught fish all morning. They straight up whacked them, start to finish. Once again, gotta Thank for their awesome baits they put out there for us to use. They make catching fish, seem easy..

Another amazing day on the water. We stayed away from the crowds and fished a lot of new stuff today, and it paid off.. When you r throwing trout back this size, you know it was an awesome day..

Had to make a separate post for the twinsies. Fishing is just so good right now, I took them trout fishing, and they wore me out.🤣 Their dad and myself casted and they caught, non stop till we left. Went and watched a huge pod of dolphins for a good while and then went and caught a little bit of everything bottom fishing. It was an amazing trip for them and myself as it was non stop action, not to mention, they were great mates, I turned around to bait a hook and they already grabbed the and it on there for me.. Perfect

Another amazing day of Speckled trout fishing. Pretty much everywhere you go, it's all you want. I know it wont last forever, but im going keep putting everyone on them as long as I can. Just insane fishery we have here in NC.. Johnny has been with me for years, and I rubbed off on him enough that he went out and got himself a Captains license, Congratulations man, very proud of you..
