October 23rd, 2012 - The Hangover III set in the Southwest Las Vegas valley. The granted permission to film on their land for the sequel to the highest grossest comedy.

This is a LOCATION MAP from the 2008 film, Race to Witch Mountain, starring as a Las Vegas cab driver. With majority of filming taking place at this 2nd unit map of the areas nearby shows highlight the filming locations for the day: Loc #1 at Flamingo/Kovak & Loc #2 at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. Hotel, Basecamp and the nearest hospital, along with driving directions are always important information to relay to the crew from the Location Manager on these documents.

Absolutely not; we don't have the budget for that. But you will see the locations of where those two stars filmed on the Las Vegas Strip, and that's pretty good, too. Ticket link in bio.

From "Cool World," a 1992 animated/live action movie from "Fritz the Cat" director Ralph Bakshi. Kim Basinger, Gabriel Byrne and Brad Pitt starred, but the real attraction was the film's surreal, mostly animated climax, staged on and around a pre-canopy Fremont Street.

The 2009 Disney franchise reboot "Race to Witch Mountain" wreaks havoc on LVMT's home neighborhood, Las Vegas' 18b Arts District. Fleetingly seen are the future locations of Velveteen Rabbit, Nevada Brew Works and Makers & Finders. Also, the film crew is visible in some of the shots, standing on the sidewalks of Main Street.

From Godfrey Reggio's experimental, non-narrative feature film "Koyannisqatsi," 1982. (Francis Ford Coppola, whose Las Vegas movie "One from the Heart" came out a year earlier, is the film's presenting producer.) These Fremont Street workers appear at the film's halfway point and stare out of the screen, smiling and unsmiling, for a good 25 seconds.

Cheech Marin & Tommy Chong in 1982's "Things Are Tough All Over," filmed in Goodsprings (in and around Pioneer Saloon) and in Las Vegas (on a pre-canopy Fremont Street). The desert shot inspired a piece of woodcut art that hangs over the bar at Tacos & Beer.
