We have some exciting news that we want to share, We now are offering classes for you to enjoy maybe on a afternoon that it is rainy or an evening where you might want to gather on the porch and have some fun, we have it happening for you now. Inquire because it is so much fun. Think of something you want to learn to make or play while you are here I bet we already have it ready and waiting for you. Want matching shirts for your group, we’ve got you covered. We can do it!

Out new Little Libraries are up, zWe have touch up to do. We will have books for all ages for folks to borrow read and return. If you have books you would like to donate, we would love it! They don’t look blue but I promise they are.

We also have finally gotten our sign up.

Last note for today. The blue rabbit hold was sold. It was tiny but mighty we appreciate all of ya.’ll that stayed there. It was just too much for this year!

We know that a Laurel trip is something that you plan an d save for. We want you to enjoy your stay. My home is your home while here in Laurel

Happy Fall Ya’ll! I honestly feel like I should be saying Happy New Year! We started the year off with two big goals, post on Facebook info (Yea Finally) on what we have going on and most of all add “Experiences to your stay while here at Happy Blue. We wanted to add just a little more fun when you are here! We have been quizzing our guests and they love the ideas we have created so we will be rolling them out.m ASAP If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me,text me or communicate thru Air BNB. Returning Guedts get 20 percent off when you book a stay before Dec 2023.

We currently have opened up our calendar for November and December. On January 20th I missed a step at work and broke both ankles. I am so blessed to be able to walk. They were very bad breaks. I have some tears of stuff. I thought I was going to have surgury and we have put that of f until 2024. My amazing cleaning crew saved many days. We had no cancellations and every thing worked out just terrific!

I appreciate each and everyone of you choosing Happy Blue. We hope you feel at home when you are here! If you know someone that might want to come to Laurel, please share info on Happy Blue!

We will be featuring our experienced over the next week or so. Think about …….a southern tea party or a s’mores bar, making a journal about your trip to Laurel. Descriptions and picyutred coming right up

Happy Sunday from Happy. Blue here in Laurel Ms.

I am getting all ready to start writing the next chapter in my book called “LIFE”

I have had such a terrific time with my AIR BNB’s and all of the different opportunities it has given me. I have gotten to meet some of the most kindest graceful people ever. No matter where they were from, it was always so much fun finding things we might have in common. From the simple color blue to going to high school with me or having worked with someone many years ago, It has been such a blessing.

The Blue Rabbit Hole will be leaving the family shortly so I can put all that extra energy I have into wanting Happy Blue to be more than an Air BNB but a “Southern Stay Experience”. Not only will you enjoy all of our huge list of amenities, you might want to take a chartreuse board class, or learn to to throw a Southern Tea Party, or how about making a personalized seasonal creation or learning how to make tiny bouquets in vintage vases with tiny notes. We are going to have a great selection to choose from. Our number one goal is to have fun and take a break from sightseeing. If you are with a ladies group, some like to have trip tshirts and we can design and have those ready. If you want happies for a special someone we can help. If you want a tour of Laurel, we can make that connection when you choose to stay at Happy Blue. we want you to feel like Happy Blue is your home away from home.

So you will see changes happening gradually in the next couple of weeks, I am so excited for y’all to sit on the amazing front porch and create something you can remember Laurel by. or It might even be a fun Christmas ornament, our minds are thinking about all kinds of creations. Everyone can create something in their own way. Let’s have some fun!

My 100+ year old Rabbit Foot Fern.... it is so special to me!

There is just something wonderful about a nice Summer day on the patio at Happy Blue, watching the birds, bees and butterflies play in the beautiful flowers.

What is your favorite plant? Do you have a memory attached to a certain flower?
Please let me know in the comments, I’m always looking to add more color to our lovely back yard and I love learning what’s special to you!

Soooooo y’all........ soooooo much is going on. I just continue to be so blessed and my brain is learning so much. First of all my air bnbs took a break during the initial Covid-19 stay home order so that was from March 8th until almost the end of May. It was a perfect time for me to be able to be with my grandchildren, work on a ton of projects for my new business and slowing down gave some time to reflect on some things I had stored away in this old brain.

Now we are up and moving again and since I do my own cleaning I either smell like Lysol or bleach as I am taking extra precautions. I myself am not out and about in Laurel much and if I am I have a mask and gloves on. But it is rare. Jones county and Laurel are at the top of the counties that have the most people with it and the most deaths associated as well. The best word for that is unacceptable and the best phrase is “Come on people care about your neighbor if you don’t care about yourself.”

My main focus has been designing organizing and getting ready to launch my newest venture. A little bit of this and A little bit of that which is exactly what it is we will be just doing all kinds of creative experiences.

So the elephant has been in my room and my house for a month plus..... social media. Hmmmm
How can I avoid it? how can I put off etc etc So generally speaking it is coming along slow but sure but the biggest elephant in the room is Facebook live. OMG!

Sooooo I thought y’all might want to end Sunday or start Monday with some great laughs. Warning. I was so nervous which just makes it funnier. So now I have to practice everyday and coming soon things will get better I hope!

First comments were. Mom your shirt is too big! Mom why were you so nervous! Sally you are always so welcoming but this is different. And yes it is different. The comments have been so much fun. It serviced its purpose for me..... I got to do my favorite thing laugh! I hope you will too!
