Some say things are a little quiet in the Black Hills and Badlands during November, and they may be right. Well, except for the state and national parks, including free admission on November 11th. Oh and the great Veterans Day parades too. And the Mountain West Beerfest in Rapid City, South Dakota's largest beer festival. Or the Big Whiskey Festival in Deadwood. Not to mention Victorian Christmas in Hill City. Light up the Night in Belle Fourche. The Festival of Lights and outdoor Ice Skating in Rapid City. Hairball in Deadwood. 1880 Holiday Express Train in Hill City... Ok - I'm sure you get it by now - November in the Black Hills is NOT to be missed. We still have availability for DeadWeird! Located just a 9-mile cab ride (or hearse ride depending on your zombie status) to downtown Deadwood, Rustic Pines Hideaway is a great place to stay after spending the evening at DeadWeird being the life of the party. Unless of course you go as a zombie, then I guess you'd be the afterlife of the party.
