Agent Education Programs are one of the many ways the Travel Agents at Looking Glass Travel, LLC stay informed of all of the new and exciting offerings for our clients.
In addition to some great training and info about other Disney Destinations, Tracy Fryer Vollmers
and I got to experience Pixar Fest, tour the new Pixar Place Hotel and Disneyland Hotel Villas, and learn even more about what the Disneyland Resort has to offer guests of all ages!
I spent the plane ride home organizing pictures and videos and can’t wait to share highlights with you, as well as some tips and tricks! Stay tuned….

What a WONDERFUL Alaskan Cruise with Mickey, Donald, Minnie, and more! This was my 16th cruise, and is definitely in the TOP 3. Alaska is a must see, and cruising was such magical way to experience this majestic destination!

Alaska Cruise Day 6: Ketchikan
Ketchikan is so cute! Got off the ship and felt like I was in an Alaskan town designed by Disney. As non sea food eaters we were happy to have discovered the Eagles Nest!
8:30am Fitness Center
9:30am Breakfast
11:00am Off the ship
11:30am The Great Alaskan Lumberjack show
1:00pm Axe Throwing competition
1:45pm Explored Ketchikan
2:15 Lunch at the Eagles Nest!
(Amazing view and delicious wood fired pizza!)
3:15 More exploring of Ketchikan and souvenir shopping
4:30 Back on Board for Hot Tub time
5:15 Back to stateroom to do a little work and took a NAP!
7:15 Pictures in Lobby with backdrops and magic shots
7:30 Cadillac Lounge for Happy Hour and the music of Alan Menken
8:05 Dinner animators (Showed up early to have time to draw.)
10pm Azure: competed in Seriously?!
10:30pm Piano party! (Dueling Pianos!)
Midnight these pumpkins called it a night!

Happy Pride Month!!! Since we can’t be at Disney World today in our red shirts- we busted out our red today in Ketchikan on the Disney Wonder! Met so many awesome LGBTQ+ guests and Allies on board!

Alaska Cruise Day 4: Icy Strait Point
7:30 Fitness Center
8:15 Breakfast at Cabanas
9am Magic Shots on board with a great view!
9:15am Off ship to explore Icy Point Strait
After doing a little nature hike we took the Gondola up to the top to ride the worlds largest ZipRider! Then we explored the port and shops, and did a little Whale watching from the shore.
1:15 pm Lunch and back on board
2:30pm Found a warm place with a view to catch up on a little necessary work.
4:15 DCL trivia and Drinks at French Quarter Lounge. (The Old fashioned here is amazing! The Hurricane is a must for passion fruit lovers)
5:15 Hot tub time
7:15 photos with Mirabelle and Bruno
7:30 Photos in the Lobby
7:45 Happy hour in the Cadillac Lounge (With the music of John and Joel… Sir Elton and Billy.)
8:15 Dinner at Tiana’s
10pm Azure- another Adult only game. (Joined teams with a lovely couple from Happy Hour.)
10:30 Up close Magic of Eric Jones
11pm Silent Disco

7:30 Fitness Center
8:30 Breakfast at Cabanas
9:30 Shaping the landscape: Glaciers and humans (Naturalist presentation)
10:30 am photos with characters in their Alaska outfits and enjoying the views!
12:30pm Lunch at Cabanas
1:00pm Enjoyed some wine and the views from our private balcony!
2:50 Glacier viewing excursion
(Got to see a glacier uo close, explore Tracy Arm fjord on a smaller boat, see icy falls, and enjoy a Glacierita!!!)
5:45 Pictures in Lobby Atrium
6:15 Heated pool and hot tub time
7:45 Freezing the night away deck party!
8:15 Dinner at Animator’s Palate

9:30 Broadway music in lobby & more characters
10pm Intuition! (Adult only lounge)

7:30 Hot tub to ourselves!
8:15 Dinner at Animator’s Palate
10pm Azure, the adult only lounge!
Played Majority minds & enjoyed watching Match your Mate.
11:30- Set our clocks back 1 hour- and called it a night!

Just enjoyed a wonderful brunch at Palo! Boarded the ship without a Palo reservation. Went straight to French Quarter lounge once on board and within 15 minutes secured a reservation with the manager of Palo. They assured me that only a fraction of the reservations are given our in advance, and they are able to accommodate many more guests wishing to dine at Palo once on board.

Excited to board the Disney Wonder tomorrow for a 7-Night Alaskan Cruise! Ports of call include Juneau, Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, and Glacier Viewing day at the Stikine Icecap!!! Can’t wait to share my adventures!!

Loved our Dinner at Artist Point! The food and drinks were delicious and the character interactions are so much fun!!! This was one of my favorite character meals yet!!! The kids around were having a blast- but it was also perfect for our adult date night!

Off to Disney again! This time from Fort Lauderdale via Brightline! So impressed with the new station and ease of boarding! If you’ll have time to kill before your train splurge on a premium ticket for free checked bags and access to the Premium Lounge! (Free food and drinks!)

Happy World Theatre Day!
When you think of Theatre you may think of Broadway or National Tours. But many Cruise Lines offer amazing theatrical productions. Disney Cruise Line has 3 family friendly Broadway style shows on each of its ships, NCL and Royal Caribbean offer Theatrical hits on many of their ships, and Virgin Voyages is swapping classic Broadway productions for first-to-sea, modern, and immersive entertainment! Animal Kingdom may not have as many attractions as the other 3 Walt Disney world Parks, but the rides Animal Kingdom does have are some of my favorites!
It is also home to one of my favorite restaurants in Walt Disney World, Yak and Yeti. And Nomad Lounge is the perfect place to grab a cocktail!
