Did you know that Global Entry is now free for children under 18? So exciting! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Global Entry applicants under the age of 18 are now exempt from the application fee if a parent or legal guardian is already a member or is also applying for Global Entry.

Starting yesterday, the application fee for a five-year Global Entry membership for adults now costs $120. This marks the first Global Entry price increase since 2009. Under the new rule, a family of four that includes two kids will pay only $240 to apply for Global Entry ($120 for each adult, $0 for each child under 18).

Like Global Entry, the application fees for Nexus and SENTRI, two of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection's other Trusted Traveler Programs, are also now $120, but children under the age of 18 can apply for free.

Nexus is a joint program managed by the CBP and the Canada Border Services Agency that allows expedited processing between the U.S. and Canada, while SENTRI does the same between the U.S. and Mexico.

I don’t typically love to attend two travel conferences within just three weeks time, but as the proud owner of Strack Travel, I’m also incredibly grateful to be hosted by Travel Planners International. And, this week, I’m excited to spend time at the beautiful Sandals Royal Bahamian for a Platinum Agent Symposium! I’ll be networking with other industry experts and travel advisors that I call dear friends, and I’ve truly looked so forward to this conference and can’t wait to see what’s in store!

I’m boarding a 5am flight to Miami and will be in The Bahamas by lunch and ready to relax for the afternoon by the pool and get a little work done before the real fun begins! ☺️
