ALL 2022 EVENTS CANCELED.

It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce that due to extreme drought conditions, low water levels in our river/reservoir, and record heat, our Mayor Pro Tem and our Director of Water & Wastewater Ops have canceled our jet ski races and, following that, our committee has voted to cancel all other events, as the races & the river truly are the cornerstone of the event.

If you were a racer looking forward to this event Nautiwater Racing
and the Jettribe Mid America WaterX Championship, by Nautiwater Racing pages will have updates on the race that will replace this race in their schedule.

If you were a vendor, our Vendor Coordinator will be reaching out to you on Monday to get your money refunded - and we apologize for the inconvenience.

If you are a local, we're still planning to have fireworks on the 4th, and we'll just have to pray for a wetter Spring in 2023 and hope we can regroup and try again next year.

Of course, this has been a blow to all of us who have worked so hard all these months organizing and planning this event, to all the racers who travel from far and wide to enjoy our beautiful town, and to all the local businesses who expected the significant turnout that this event generates.
Sadly, we have no control over the weather, and this is the hand we've been dealt this year. We appreciate EVERYONE who took part in the planning of Rock'n Riverfest 2022 - we just hope we can give this another try in 2023 under better conditions.

If you are coming to Llano to visit Enchanted Rock you must make reservations.

ATTENTION: Spring Break has arrived and so have the Spring Break crowds (but not the wildflowers). Reservations are required to enter the State Natural Area on holidays, weekends and every day of the week during school breaks. You can check availability and make reservations online at TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com (last we checked, permits were sold out until Sunday, March 20th).

Texas State Parks has had a reservation system for day-use since February 2019. Capacity limits and reservations help protect the natural area, all those who visit her, and the staff and volunteers who care for her on a daily basis. Weekend of June the 4th is going to be really fun in Llano. Starting Friday with the Rodeo parade, Pro Rodeo Friday and Saturday night, Heritage Days on Saturday. Come stay with us at the HopAway to enjoy all the fun.

What's a festival without a Petting Zoo? Fannies Farm Animals will be at Llano Texas Heritage Day June 4, 2022 to entertain you. Old and Young alike will enjoy petting, holding, and talking to these cute animals. There will be kid goats, bunnies, exotic chickens, and ducks. Chairs, holding towels, feed and hand sanitizers will be provided.
Be sure to stop at this exhibit in the children's area on Berry Street. A great photo op!
