What could be a better view of Logan and the Hocking Hills of Ohio than that of our event detective, a soaring Buzzard named Hercule, riding the thermals over the land? Tourists and locals, stop here to learn of events and news in the area that Hercule, the Logan Buzz, has spied from the sky. The buzzard is a symbol of transformation and enlightenment, rising into the heavens. They ingest nasty de
ad things and their system sanitizes it. Without buzzards, we would have a lot more disease. Scientists study buzzards in regard to an antidote for biological warfare. Native Americans call them Peace Eagles because they do not kill to eat. They also can effortlessly soar for hours, and one was seen so high, it looked like a speck in the sky. They are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Some people regard them as nuisances but although they are somewhat challenged in the beauty department, they are at the top of the list of favorites at the Logan Buzz. Our Hercule Buzzard is named after the famed detective, Hercule Poirot, and even though Hercule Buzzard does not have as many little grey cells as Poirot, he definitely has the same nose for discovery. Discovery of events, that is. The Logan Buzz is produced by Sharon Grossman, Perfectus Publications, LLC.
