The Mission of the Cass County Visitors Bureau is to encourage tourism, enhance visitor experience and promote Cass County as an ideal destination to travel and reside. Our aim is to enhance Cass County’s economy through tourism – to position and sell our community regionally, in partnership with public and private sector, as a premier destination for tournaments, corporate meetings, group tours and individual leisure travel. The Cass County Visitors Bureau is a non-profit organization.

The Cass County Visitors Bureau Director is responsible for carrying out the mission and business of the Cass County Visitors Bureau (CCVB). This primarily involves making connections with and assist in promoting tourist attractions, dining, festivals, concerts, events, and Lodging facilities in Cass County as well as managing the day-to-day operational activities. This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm). The Director will be assisted by the Executive-Director. The Director reports to the Cass County Visitor’s Bureau Board of Directors. The board is seeking a highly self-motivated individual with knowledge of Cass County. Applicants should have strong networking skills with the ability to manage their time efficiently, experience in marketing and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Benefits include Medical Insurance (Dental and Vision option available-to be paid personally by the Director), Holiday schedule as decided by the Cass County Commissioners, and vacation time. Tonight (11/6) starts weeknight and weekend lane restrictions and ramp closures on I-465 eastbound and westbound near Carmel.

Starting Wednesday, November 6, at 7 p.m. through Thursday, November 7, at 7 a.m. crews will reduce I-465 eastbound to a single lane between U.S. 31 and Keystone Ave. and reduce I-465 westbound to two lanes between River Rd. and Keystone Ave. The Shadeland Ave. to 56th St. collector/distributor ramp will be reduced to a single lane. The U.S. 31 northbound to I-465 eastbound, U.S. 31 southbound to I-465 eastbound and I-465 westbound to Keystone Ave. ramps will be closed.
