Shortly after getting the hang of the e-bike some my more experienced riders tackled some of the intermediate single trail on the the ridge line adjacent to the beginner fire road. This experience is great for groups who have riders who are both beginners and intermediate that way each individual rider can push to their own limits and still have a blast!

This dynamic father and son duo joined on our Scenic Malibu electric Mountain bike experience! Finally some clear blue skies out in LA to make this ride even more enjoyable with the views. This Santa Cruz trip really left me blown away! There were some many new trails discovered as well as many new friendships made. I felt so felt so lucky to ride with such a great group of guys and gals. The camaraderie on the trail was much more I ever anticipated and the trails very heavenly! From endless single-track to the mind blowing features that surrounded the majority of trails we rode on, I still can’t get over the riding I experienced with these guys and girls. Nearing the end of 2021, this group ride in Santa Cruz has truly reshaped my perspective of mountain biking in California. Despite the challenges and bumps that were carried through 2021, this Santa Cruz trip was the absolute blast and best way to wrap up the year on a positive note.
With Santa Cruz being one of the epicenters of mountain biking, you’re constantly in awe by the abundance of trails that take you through the lush Redwood forests of NorCal. Aside from the gorgeous scenery of these forests, the iconic trails in Santa Cruz are filled with some of the best single-track and features you’ll find anywhere within the US. From the continuous flow to the technical drops, these NorCal trails all seem to carry a roller coaster aspect of thrill with tons of variety. Reliving my experience through the videos captured, constantly reminds me of how much I love mountain biking especially in UCSC. This is surely a trip I’ll never forget. November marks the month of some of the most insane riding for the year of 2021. Day one in Santa Cruz, we met up with one of our friends @benthieme5680 to shred it on the Flow Trail. Despite the long tedious climb up the fire road, it is all totally worth the reward of the abundance of trails to choose from. For riders who enjoy flow, the first option is the Flow Trail. And for riders who like tech with awesome wooded features, Braille would be the top choice. Spending hours in the great forests of Santa Cruz, we recorded tons of runs on the Flow Trail, switched from Braille to Sawpit (being one of my favorites). Nothing beats flying down the mountain with your hands off the brakes and allowing gravity to take its course. The feeling of riding on these trails is unbeatable and doesn’t compare to any thrill you’ll experience in California. If you call yourself an avid mountain biker, do yourself a favor and make your way to the trails out in Santa Cruz. It will surely change your life.

LifeRush would like to warmly welcome @Aubreydean86 who recently enrolled in our rider progression program! Aubrey was so stoked on her ride yesterday! We started from the top of Mount Wilson and shredded down Redbox to Gabrielino then we shot over and hit some technical at Suicide. We ended the day practicing some fun bike skills at the bike clinic! The MTB Hopper ramps are really great to refine your technique preparing for gap jumps and table tops. I know we’re all looking forward to the bike park this summer.
