Wherever we are in our lives, sometimes we need an outside resource to get us to the next level. Sometimes a best friend can get us there, or if we need to dive into our past, a therapist. If you choose me to be your coach, I’ll help you become a deliberate creator of these next steps and help you stay accountable. Here is what you can expect;

t for your needs. If it’s outside of my expertise (perhaps therapy or spiritual counseling is a better option) then we’ll discuss that and I can give you some referrals.

5 reasons we don’t meet people by accident

1. Some people are “roadblocks and re-directors”.
These ppl delay you for small and big reasons. This delay is for your highest good).
2. Some people are “assignments” and “teachers.”
They are here to teach you important life lessons that help you grow who you are.
3. Some people are “angels”.
They are here to remind you to stay safe and loving. They ensure you don’t stray too far from the path you are meant to be on.
4. Some people are “guideposts”.
They represent and symbolize something you want, which motivates you to keep you on track.
5. Some people are your “tribe.”
The ones who stay the long haul.

7-step approach in becoming a perfect human ~~ Rumi

1. Remove anger… Which is the absence of peace. The best way to change anything is through love. Remove all thoughts of anger… which is low energy.

2. Forgiveness… whoever wrongs you… Forgive them. Let it go. Forgiveness is the violent shred after standing on the violet with your heel. Anyone who has done you wrong… Send them love. Your life will be transformed. From this moment on… I send you love.

3. Refrain from speaking ill of anyone ever!! This is a hard one for most… you can say, “I am working on not having conversations that put down anyone else.” It is your obligation to guard the things you know about someone. That is the real challenge. This will make you a beam of light. Who am I to judge anyone else? No condemnation of any of God’s children.

4. Compassion… The Dalai Lama said if we could take every child on earth at the age of five and have them meditate one hour a week on compassion we could eliminate violence in all the world within one generation.

5. Live from a place of humility…. Water goes to the lowest place… And it is the most powerful because over time it can shed away even the strongest stones.

6. Contentment…. Don’t let people or things take you away from your peace. Give yourself more quiet time. You are in a state of gratitude and peace for everything.

7. Generosity…. The more you give away the more that will come back.

Sometimes I think about the different characters I play in everybody’s story.

I’m a terrible person in some people's narratives and a Godsend in others.

And none of it has anything to do with the person I truly am.

The lens that others view you through is colored by their upbringing, beliefs, and individual experiences.

Some people see your bright personality as endearing and others see it as annoying.

Some people think you’re weak and emotional and others feel safe to be themselves around you.

Some people think you’re rude and selfish and others respect the way you stand up for yourself.

Some people admire the way you take pride in the way you look and others think you’re conceited.

A few have asked, “What do you think about the Golden Bachelor” getting divorced?”

To me... it’s not a biblical reason to divorce. I mean, it's a 2nd date conversation, "Are you open to moving away from your family?" Everyone knows their own answer. There just HAS to be another reason?? I’m not saying that IS another reason, but they have the means to travel— they could even buy 2 homes in both locations. We all know family is important…. but when you find love…. you make it work, especially if you promise in front of God and family (and America) of your forever devotion. What say you?

Everyone knows that communication is one of the most important things and every relationship. But 90% of a couple’s communication is about the “business” of you. (Who is going to pick up the kids? Are you going to the grocery or do you need me to? Will you be sure to pay that bill today? My mom needs help with her heater, can you get to that soon? Etc).

Even though that type of communication is needed… this is not the type of communication that is most important to make a strong bond. It is the emotional component… How was your day? How do you feel about that? Tell me more about your dream or of…) If couples could devote 10 minutes a day to this type of communication, they would have a relationship that thrives!

7 Powerful Lessons from "Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones" by James Clear:

1. Focus on Systems, Not Goals: Goals are about the results you want, but systems are the processes that lead you there. Focusing on building good habits and routines (your system) is more effective than just chasing specific outcomes (goals).

2. Make Habits Tiny: Start small and gradually increase the difficulty as you build consistency. This makes it easier to stick with the habit and avoids overwhelming yourself, leading to discouragement.

3. Cue, Craving, Response, Reward: Understanding the habit loop (cue, craving, response, reward) allows you to identify and manipulate your triggers and responses to build good habits or break bad ones.

4. Make Good Habits Obvious and Bad Habits Invisible: Surround yourself with cues that trigger your desired habits and remove cues that trigger bad ones. This makes it easier to automatically choose the right behavior.

5. Stack Habits: Combine new habits with existing ones to create a chain reaction of positive behavior. For example, "after I brush my teeth, I will do 10 push-ups."

6. Believe in the Power of Identity: Focus on becoming the type of person who does the good habits you want to build, rather than just forcing yourself to do them. This creates a more sustainable and motivating approach.

7. Don't Miss Twice: Everyone slips up sometimes. The key is to get back on track as quickly as possible. Don't let one missed session turn into a relapse; view it as an opportunity to learn and recommit.
