Today marks the 60th anniversary of the Wilderness Act of 1964 - an event that has since spurred the additional protection of over 112 million acres of public land throughout the United States. Come celebrate Shenandoah's roughly 80,000 acres of designated wilderness with ranger programs throughout the park!
