55th Annual Festival of Lights Boat Parade - Dec. 11th, 2021

Madeira Beach's lighted boat parade will happen Saturday December 11th. The parade begins in the American Legion at 6:30pm, travels all the fingers, and ends at John's Pass ending approx 9:45/10pm.

Viewing areas....
ROC Park - Join the kick off party on the seawall OR John's pass has an evening of Holiday music and shopping with a late viewing of the parade.

Whether you are at John's Pass, Madiera Beach, or ANYWHERE...most people love sea turtles!

For us in this area, sea turtle nesting season starts May 1st and ends November 30th. So be on the lookout!

A few important ways you can help this awesome creature during this time is: 1) Pick up litter on the beach; 2) Fill in holes on the beach (from beach goer activity); 3) Make sure your lighting on your place of stay/home/condo is sea turtle compliant (on the beach side).

Help us make the mating season for these sea critters safe and productive!

Public beaches may be closed....but not private beaches like 202 or 308 at Beach Place. I was there last week and headed back this weekend!! Here are my pix.

April 11th on just opened up to out of state guests not being able to travel....but fellow Floridians may want to “social distance” with the sound of surf and tranquility.
