OMG! Opening day of the 18th Season of the Award-winning Manteo Downtown Market is tomorrow, May 11th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in George Washington Creef Park in downtown Manteo.

Phenomenal vendors, scrumptious food, plentiful produce, excited young entrepreneurs, and so much more!

Visit with our amazing Town of Manteo Police Department, the Town of Manteo Community-Police Advisory Board, and the Roanoke Island Volunteer Fire Department too. You may not recognize the Manteo Police Department as they have a whole new look!

Harbor Towns Cruises will join us later in the morning, sharing information about their project followed by a Ribbon-Cutting at noon. Please help us welcome them to the Town of Manteo and thank them for providing a great memorable experience running ferries between our beautiful coastal towns.

Meet Me In Manteo will make its official debut at the Downtown Market tomorrow too! What is that? Come on out and hear all about this exciting endeavor from the Manteo Main Street Advisory Board members! Catch a glimpse of this great "new look" paying homage to our history and at the same time inviting everyone to enjoy the ever-growing vibrant community that you see today in Manteo. (Image is a hint!)

It's great to be a kid in Manteo!

This time tomorrow we will be closing out an awesome morning of KidsFest fun!

We hope you will be joining us tomorrow morning (May 10) for our 15th Annual KidsFest at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo!

Come out and join us at this FREE event from 9:30am-12:30pm for lots of fun games, large vehicles to explore, crafts and activities for young children, Imagine Circus performers, Nature Out Loud, the Native American Dancers from The Lost Colony, and so much more!

Carpooling with friends is always a wonderful idea, as parking can be very tight!
We look forward to seeing those bright and smiling faces tomorrow!
