This site was created to help keep you informed of local events and how the Sabine Parish Tourist Commission promotes the parish. The Commission was formed by legislative act in 1975 to provide for the marketing of Toledo Bend Lake and Sabine Parish. Its seven member board is appointed. The have an average annual budget of approximately $500,000. Their main source of funding is a 3 cent on the dollar occupancy tax on lodging that is paid by the tourist.
