When I was the mother of a newborn child, I found that my days were absorbed with caring for my young one. Not only was there no time for myself, but I found that there were very few truly family-oriented services available for new parents and their children. When creating our hair salon, my intention was to create a truly family-oriented space, where both parents and children could get their hair
cut and styled in comfort. I’ve specifically set up the facilities so that new parents can take that little extra time for themselves while knowing that their children are also having fun. The primary difference between AmberSky and other St. Louis hair salons is that we are completely oriented to the family. No need to worry whether you will be made to feel like you or your child is a nuisance. Whether you need to breastfeed or your toddlers need to stand on their heads and belt “Old McDonald” at the top of their lungs, there is no need to be embarrassed. This space has been created for both of you. Our stylists are masters at cutting children’s hair without stress. They have learned how to keep a child happy and his or her haircut a positive experience.
