Hoping everyone is staying warm. Green Moss Cabin is booked now through New Year’s Eve, but we have been taking January and February bookings today. . . So if you are looking for a peaceful winter retreat, we just might be your answer. Wishing a Merry Christmas to All. 🙋🏽‍♀️

Over the years many of our guests have left our hearts full, but this past week has been an exceptional week. We lost a dear friend from our community. Not only a good friend and neighbor, but also had booked the cabin for family of his own from out of state to stay when in town. This week Matt & I we’re blessed to have them as our guests again. They left us with such a touching note, flowers and a picture we will treasure of Jeff Gosnell.
We sometimes add items that reflect our community and the people who have touched our lives to the cabin decor. This picture will be framed and definitely find a home at Green Moss Cabin. Kathy Gosnell and family our deepest sympathy to all.

Summer at Green Moss Cabin is zipping by. We were able to update our kitchen in early spring . . . just now getting around to sharing a peek. Thanks to each of our guests who has crossed our path. We are blessed.

Our very favorite thing about Green Moss Cabin is the wonderful people we have met over the past 5 years. Sometimes we don’t even get the chance to meet our guests in person, but today was another reminder of how sweet our guests are. Thank you for the beautiful planter. 💕

The Trails End Camp Store, also known as "The Gift Shop", "The Bait Shop" and "The Camp Store"...😂will be open tomorrow (Friday May 29th) at 7am. We have bait (Thousands of Crickets and Minnows, Hundreds of Red Worms and Earthworms, dozens of Bee Moths plus more! The gift shop area is still a work in progress. Wood, Ice and cold drinks are available. Don't forget your fishing pole! Once the rain moves through on Friday, it will be a beautiful weekend! Camp Store phone # 217-826-1363

The Restaurant will likely be open late next week as we still have some staff training to do as well as some remaining tasks to complete. Looking forward to seeing you very soon! In our 3 years of meeting our guests at Green Moss Cabin we have continuously felt blessed. Our journal is filled with memories and comments, but this one actually brought tears to my eyes -just had to share it. I love it when God is glorified through everyday life ❤️
