"The Crab Shack is awesome - super fun, GREAT location and charming. There are plenty of beds (albeit not spacious) for sleeping, so it would be a good spot for a family with a few younger kids. We fell in love with the charm and easygoing vibes of Matlacha, and thought the canal access was such a great bonus to an already great spot. We used the kayaks to paddle around and check out all the colorful houses and wish that we could stay longer. The crab shack is truly in walking distance from the entire town of Matlacha, and The Perfect Cup is just a few minutes away - great food and coffee. Cory and Heather were accommodating hosts and have a very special place, it was hard to leave. Definitely book this little gem."

"Absolutely perfect for all of us! So cute and adorably decorated and so fun! So relaxing on the screened in porch to deck outside to kitchen or living room or bedrooms! Close and walking distance in a wonderful fun neighborhood walk to fun restaurants, bars, live music and great fun shopping!! We all truly enjoyed our stay! Heather was wonderful to work with and we will be back!! Cherished memories made on Island time at your adorable crab shack!! Kitchen so roomy and cute and grill so nice to have and grill out fresh seafood from the many seafood markets within walking distance! Great extras for beach too!! Thanks for everything!! So relaxing we appreciated everything very much!!!"
