Giving thanks for the Dust Settling rains!

Looks to be the end of the month for some 90s again. We know there will be a warm-up at least sometime in Sept at least for a short period before true fall and then winter.

Outside our area. The Chico Park Fire continues to grow. If you have any friends or relatives between Chico and Shingletown this will be one to keep an eye on. In less than 48 hours it has burned 164k acres and today strong winds should push it north even more!

We should be seeing some smoke this afternoon and for a day or two starting today, Thurs after about 3pm. There are fires to the south that will bring it up the canyon with the projected winds.

No need to panic the fire is not around here close.....
