Yesterday with BreakLiners Tony and Alyssa couldn’t have been more nice and relaxing. Even with the water mosquitoes (jet skis) buzzing around. Been fishing with them for so many years. At one point we just anchored up in the shade and looked back through old trip photos. Sharks, muskies, bass, cats, walleye there isn’t a lot we haven’t caught together. So grateful for these 2’s friendship and support over the years. Looking forward to our next one later this month guys, thank you as always! 🙏 🎣

Next up, congratulations to new BreakLiner Sean on his new PB 19.5” smallmouth. That fish hit right after a deluge that cleared the holiday madness off the river. My crew just kept casting like “we don’t melt!” 12yo Seth absolutely crushed the adults on numbers on this trip. Hooked into bass after bass and even a channel on a jerk and then caught a couple flatheads too. Heck yeah it was an awesome trip with this crew! Thank you guys for being BreakLiners and for the dinner! 🎣

I know to a lot of folks summer feels over. The kids are back in school. And a lot of people are breaking out the camo. But it’s not over as far as fishing goes. This crew had something cool happen! First off congratulations to Trish, who got her first fishing license in her life and caught her first catfish. Thats so fun! Then there’s Otto’s cat. Well his hit and a rod a couple over in the tower started going. Not the one beside it. So I first thought maybe a double? But the timing was weird. So then I thought nah, his fish swam over and tangled it somehow. So as he was reeling in his fish I grabbed the other rod and I reeled it in, with the goal to unwrap it or whatever, only to discover that he could have chosen either Catch The Fever Hellcat, because that fish took both baits and was hooked in both corners of its mouth! Guess it liked the new Hooker's Terminal Tackle Davey Jones Fathom hooks! I was sold on the OG Davey Jones from the first time I laid eyes on one. The Fathom is just a cooler glow in the dark version. Otto’s catch was really neat and will be one we remember. The floating grass isn’t neat and I’m over it. Thank you Steve, Jen, Otto, Opal, Trish and Danny!!

Ed and Charlie, brothers, that live in PA, brought out their distant cousin Veronika and her family from France! It was Meters and KG tonight. Circles were new to them. There was a slight learning curve, which you know we missed some, but then they got the hang of it and the boys each caught their own and got their mom set up on one. I am so lucky to meet some amazing people through this career. Thank you Charlie, Ed, Veronika, Zalan, Boti and Istvan. Truly a pleasure having you on board! I hope you enjoy the rest of your visit here!

These very fun ladies set out to learn a little and enjoy a day on the water and we can definitely say it was mission accomplished. Kiki, Deb and Karen are master casters now! So proud of how far they came and how good they did. And wow was it nice out?! Kiki said she felt like she was on vacation. It was just one of those days out there, relaxing and beautiful. Ladies, great job! Deb so glad you finally got that one that was following you all day haha Thank you so much! Now don’t stop, your arms are warmed up and you know what to do. Just keep fishing! ☺️ 🎣

🎣 💅 Ladies clinic time! First off big thanks to ALL of the ladies this season that participated in them! We ran catfish and bass clinics, both were successful and received very positive feedback! Happy to announce I will be doing more next season! This clinic was Katlyn, Addi and Noreen! None of them were beginners so we were able to dive right into the advanced bass lure types and applications. Clinics are 2 hours on water hands on education and 1 hour applying what you learn. Which in this case meant fishing in the chocolate milk and catching a variety of species on the Catch The Fever Precision Cast Rods. So fun! Thank you ladies!!

Definitely not new BreakLiners! Well one was. Welcome Fred! The rest of them, seasoned and some of my favorite people! They caught the seasons biggest last year. We didn’t catch anything like that tonight. But I took them up to some “new to them” spots for a change of scenery and there was no shortage of fish (or snacks!) New BreakLiners today, 3 generations. In town for the Little League World Series and planned to do a little fishing! All the way from TX ✈️ and VA! Rick, Adam and Tyler. Everyone’s first time on the Susquehanna. Tyler did so good today! He caught smallies, channels, a flathead and a blue gill, which we used for bait! Adam and Rick just couldn’t seem to get to a rod before Tyler today 🤷‍♀️😉 Thank you guys so much for fishing with me! Enjoy the rest of your visit to PA! ⚾️

When your daughter asks if you can take her out fishing before she goes back to college, the answer is YES! Everyone tore up bass and channels on the new Precision Cast Rods. Then Ashleigh and Drew took turns on the big rods. Ash was all about the flats. Including a new PB on the Pink Hellcat 💪 Gorgeous fish, so stoked for my kid!! Then finally after a pile of channels, Drew finally got his first flathead ever and a nice one too! And on the new Zakk Royce Big Cat Fever! Ashleigh coached him and was his net girl! I got to just stand back and watch, it was awesome. So proud. Ashleigh, Drew, Steph, perfect crew, perfect trip! ❤️ Catch The Fever

This was the City Island boat launch 3:30pm Friday when the River was just under 6 feet. At 2pm Saturday we will crest action stage which is 11 feet. That’s a jump from roughly 50k CFS to 166K CFS and 5 feet in less than 24 hours. (Remember we didn’t even have 5 feet before this all started, puts a little bit into perspective.) I’ll be heading out to get you guys another look to show you what that looks like! Check back! It’s amazing how fast it can go from looking normal to what you will see! 👀

Got these from Don this winter to try out this season. I rigged up all I had left for last night and ordered more first thing this morning. It goes without saying I’ve found my new favorite low/slow water inline catfish rattle. I’ve used this profile before, prefer it for slower current. Even bought my own blanks over the years and rattle canned them. But couldn’t ever find loud ones. New BreakLiners, Pop Pop Mike, Uncle Mike, Michael, Ian and Gabe! The boys are here from VA for the week staying with their grandparents. They’ve got all sorts of fun planned. 💅 🎣 The goal with my clinics is to help fellow lady anglers of all levels, gain confidence and knowledge. But so much more happens when we’re out there. It’s a fantastic bonding experience. The “Everything Catfishing” clinic is species education, rod rigging, knots, terminal tackle education, rig tying, bait prep/presentation and casting. These ladies nailed all of it and each caught fish on their setups. A very satisfying bonus. Thank you Kelsey, Siani, Katlyn and Jackie for taking my clinic!
