Pura Vida is soooo good, you will wish you had one in your neighborhood at home too!
The one and only Joe’s Stone Crab 🦀
Walking distance from our condos! Stone crab season is October 15 - May 1.
The pool is open!
Come visit. Miami is waiting.
I think the beach misses me
Another day in paradise!
Palm trees and 80 degrees 🌴
Everyone is in love with this place for a reason 😎🌴🍹
Classic food at the old school Cuban diner Puerto Sagua is always a good idea
Our “go to” is roasted chicken, rice, black beans and plantains, but the whole menu is full of memorable dishes.
When in doubt, take a walk and look at the fantastic palm trees in the South Beach. They never disappoint!
Our condos are located a block from the Miami Beach Art Deco Historic District with over 800 registered buildings. Stroll any street and enjoy the tropical flowers, plants and trees, and the standout art deco architecture.
Spend the afternoon on a boat rental and see Miami from another side.
There are so many things to see and do once you hit the water. Check out all of the celebrity mansions, stop at Monument Island for a swim, or head to the Haulover sandbar at low tide.
Rent anything from a luxury yacht to a small tiki boat! No matter what, the day will be one of the best of your trip.
Daily forecast: eighty degrees and a gentle breeze
Miami Beach calls and definitely over-delivers with scattered clouds, crystal clear, blue-green ocean, rolling waves, and lots of sandy toes!
Time to book your next trip to Miami!
The winter months book fast and airfares only get higher, so we recommend booking soon to get the dates you want, plus planning your next trip is one of life’s great pleasures! 😍😎🏝
We are Pura Vida.
Seriously we have loved this spot since it opened and we go as often as possible. We love the entire menu and always recommend Pura Vida to our guests. It’s great for breakfast, lunch or takeaway for a beach picnic.
Ventanitas serve the best coffee on the planet
One of our local ventanitas (little walk-up windows) at 227 1st Street definitely goes outside the standard limits. Yes, there’s sweet Cuban coffee and pastelitos, but there’s also beer, wine and ci**rs! We love supporting them and it’s one of those tiny spots that make South Beach so special.
Spectacular storm cloud 🌩
What a beautiful world we live in and to see this formation on an afternoon walk around South Pointe Park was special. It’s Miami Beach and you never know what you will bump into!
More palm trees than you can count
We often look around and feel the need to pinch ourselves. Miami Beach is beyond special with lush tropical foliage everywhere you look. Palm trees are abundant and the variety of them seems never ending. When you land, see who will spot the first one!
Miami Marina
The Miami Marina is an exciting place with lots of speed boats and mega-yachts. It’s great for a stroll along the path and a drink at Monty’s Sunset. It’s the same path the wraps around through South Pointe Park and the heads north along the beach for seven miles. Spectacular views are everywhere and cruise ships glide by in the late afternoons.
And if you’d like to feed the tarpon, we can give you details about where and how during your visit.
Greek seafood from the gods
The three-course prix-fixe lunch at Milos is one of our favorite Miami Beach dining experiences ($48, Monday-Sunday). Fresh fish arrives daily. The wine list is beyond. It’s upscale and so luxuriating.
Nestled in the beautiful South of Fifth neighborhood, Milos is two blocks from two of our vacation rentals, Casa Jasmine and Little Gem Studio (tap link in bio to book).
After lunch, a walk around South Pointe Park is necessary. Take in the hive of activity and watch the larger-than-life cruise ships depart towards the ocean.
Welcome to Miami Beach 🏖
The small granules of white sand are soothing on your tired feet while the ocean is warm and crystal clear blue. We don’t wax poetic a lot but the beach here is a marvel and definitely one of the best in the world. Spend the whole day or dip in and dip out.
Our holiday lets have all you need with beach towels, two chairs and an umbrella.
Welcome to The Fountain!
This is little slice of paradise on a quiet backstreet in the South of Fifth neighborhood is home to our Little Gem and Casa Jasmine (tap link in bio to book). Our vacation rentals are perfect for solo travelers, couples, or small families. They have fully-equipped kitchens and guests are welcome to use the outdoor grill. The rentals also have linens, towels and everything you need for a the beach. The grounds are lush and tropical with blooming flowers and a small swimming pool.
What more can we say?? Well, that the location is within blocks of many of the country’s top restaurants (Milos, Prime 112, Joe’s Stone Crab, Stubborn Seed) and that the beach and a walk around South Pointe Park are unforgettable. Come and see for yourself!!
Cocktails at South Pointe Tavern
We are big fans of this locals hangout. The cocktails are on point (😆) and the food is straightforward and satisfying. Best part is they serve food daily until midnight. Great for anyone who arrives late to our nearby vacation rentals.
Art Deco inspired lifeguard towers
Just another “you’ve arrived” moment is when you hit the beach and see the amazing lifeguard towers. Festive, colorful, and nearly space-age, there are 36 towers that run from the southernmost tip of South Beach up to 86th Street. Designed by William Lane Architect (we are not worthy!), these towers have become emblematic of Miami.
Under the Mango Tree
Blink and you could miss one of our favorite spots. Sit under a live mango tree, pick at the house guitar, and enjoy fresh, healthy juices, bowls, empanadas and good coffee too In this cozy, bohemian cafe.
Miami night sky
We are a little obsessed with Miami and that’s a good thing for our guests. We have so many ideas for first timers, and we have even more for return guests who want to dig a little deeper. Our activity suggestions run from taking an Art Deco walking tour to learning to surf. And for eating out, we point guests to everything from Cuban pastries sold through little windows (ventanitas) to the latest opening for elevated fine dining in Brickell. Miami is an exciting place to be these days for everyone.
Je t’aime à la folie (I love you madly 💕)
A La Folie cafe feels like a Parisian cafe with lots of locals hanging out, French waiters speaking to French patrons, fresh flowers, magazines, newspapers, and worn, comfy tables. Go any time of day or night, but go, and let time stop for an hour or two.

The Miami Beachwalk runs from 1st to 100th Street Walk, jog, cycle, or skate, but don’t miss the festive atmosphere and fresh breezes of the Miami Beachwalk along the seven-mile coastline. Take a dip anywhere along the way. Stop for lunch too. Then stop again for a cocktail on your way back! CitiBike has many rental stands along the walk. The best part about them is that a bike can be rented from any station and returned to any station. Taquiza Tacos in North Beach is the perfect lunch stop. The traditional Mexican taqueria has great margaritas too.
