Hello travel friends,
Do you always wonder what to bring - especially in your carry-on luggage? If you're only going on a short trip, you may even be able to pack everything in your carry-on.
You may bring one carry-on suitcase (check your airline's website for the exact dimensions and measurements) and one extra bag, e.g., a laptop bag, backpack, or handbag that can fit underneath the seat in front of you.
If you don't already know what to pack in your carry-on, here are 9 things we think you should always bring:
Electronics: Phone, laptop, e-reader, power bank, earphones, etc., and their chargers.
Valuables: Money, credit cards, passport, driver's license, health/travel insurance card, jewelry, etc. Empty your wallet and only bring the cards you'll need on your trip.
Medication: Prescription medication (bring a copy of your prescription just in case) and any necessary over-the-counter medication.
An empty water bottle that you can fill up at the airport.
Snacks: Nuts, granola bars, cheese sticks, crackers, etc. NO fresh fruit.
Small toiletries: Wet wipes, Kleenex, hand sanitizer, lip balm, toothbrush and tooth paste, lotion, etc. Each item must be less than 3.6 oz/100 ml and fit in a quart-sized zip-lock bag.
Entertainment: A book, a magazine, a notebook + pen, an iPad, music, etc. Bring anything you think you would like to enjoy on your flight.
A change of clothes: E.g., pajamas for a super-long flight (8+ hours), a sweater or travel blanket, comfy socks, etc. It can get cold on airplanes. PLUS clothes that match the weather at your destination.
A pen.
