For 23 years Viernes Culturales has been promoting the Latin history, art and culture of Little Havana, but most recently we have expanded our mission to include initiatives that help preserve and save the neighborhood where that History is told daily. Starting today we will launch a series that will tell the unique stories of our neighborhood and highlight the many locals who are joining us in this mission and help to make a special place every day.

Today we want to call out Artist Krystal Teresita Rodriguez and Jessica Gutierrez Castillo of for this beautiful act of kindness that combines and the most basic necessity for survival FOOD.
