Per Wiki, North Beach (NoBe) collectively refers to neighborhoods including Isles of Normandy, Biscayne Point, and La Gorce and North Shores (the area along Collins)... but we'll take the freedom to also include North Bay Village and parts of Shore Crest and the Upper East Side along Biscayne Boulevard. North Beach per se is the northernmost section of Miami Beach, roughly bound by 63rd Street and Indian Creek Drive to the south and 87th Terrace to the north. The area is undergoing gradual but exciting transformation fueled by investment and development, and an influx of new people and businesses.

Beautiful addition of a path to a North Beach park

The little details make a big difference. Thanks City of Miami Beach and public works for further beautifying our parks and green space and (finally) repairing some of the Irma damage to Normandy Isle pocket parks. Perhaps some bences coming next? Nice parks add real quality to life.

Tropical Storm Emily - 7 inches of water per hour

We got lucky and can rejoice a bit here in North Beach. Every dog gets his day - even Nobe. Tropical Storm Emily tried... but failed in our hood. We got lucky and got much less accumulation of storm-water than our sister in South Beach - and with no water pumps! Still - fingers crossed - we are true believers in Climate Change.
