Volunteers are needed to help with the clean up

Unfortunately an accident on Rt 1 destroyed the fence and a variety of monuments at Barratt's Chapel recently. Help is needed to collect the bricks and clean up the site when the insurance folks are finished. Email

On this date in 1925, this photo of the Community Building at the intersection of Church Avenue and Southwest Front Street was taken. This housed the Carlisle Fire Company and there was a large ballroom on the third floor that housed the Milford Public Library for a time. To the left of this building is the William V. Sipple & Son marble yard before they moved to Rehoboth Boulevard.
