Dear Friends and Followers, I am sad to let you know that the sun has set on our time here at Blue Mountain View. We have enjoyed every minute of these last 3 1/2 years but, when God opens a window of opportunity, you jump right through! We leave you with many happy memories and wishes that the new owners will fling the doors wide open for you as we have been so blessed to be able to do. Until we meet again! ~ Niki.

Longing for this sunset. Due to work, we will not see it again until late Spring. :( BUT, there is no reason YOU can't go! Don't you want to lounge in the hot tub and watch the mountains swallow up the sun? (And take some pictures! Let me live vicariously through you!!!)

You guys are AWESOME! I haven't posted much lately because I haven't been able to get new pics and reviews to share with you. Our reservations calendar is so full, I haven't been able to fit myself in anywhere! (good problem to have) September is booked solid. October only has 2 days left And November and December have less than a week each left. Thanks so much for your support! If you have any pics of your stay, please share them here. Especially as we hit the Leaf Season!

Hey guys! A little heads up if you're heading to the cabin soon. Looks like they've closed Haygood Road to work on the ditches and culverts. Don't know how long that will take. The cabin is still accessible, you'll just have to take Byrd Road or Jonica Gap to get there. Blue Sky will provide you with updated directions before your trip so pay close attention!

So, this popped up in my personal News Feed today. I realized WE ARE HOUSE 1 AND HOUSE 2!!!
While our cabin is in Georgia, we sit so close to the border we claim all three states. Literally. You can visit all three in one afternoon.
Netflix? Heck yeah! You can access your account on any of our 5 TVs. Try the 65" one in the game room.
Fire pit? Oh yes! Check out our pics!
Mountain View? Dude. It's literally IN THE NAME.
Pantry full of snacks? Hit the Ingles on your way in and stock up. And don't forget to stop by Mercier Orchards for a supply of Fried Pies. Fridges and pantries upstairs and down for your ridiculous overstocking pleasure.
WE'VE GOT IT ALL!!

It's unfortunate you can't quarantine with us, but we'll still be here when the world starts turning again!
