Just returned from a super fun mother and daughter trip to . The highlight was immersing ourselves in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The attention to detail transports you to Diagon Alley and Hogsmede.

I made the trip stress free by staying at a Universal Premier Resort which comes with a free unlimited express pass so you can skip the lines. This allowed us to wander the parks, take our time and not worry about lines even during Spring Break crowds.

The highlight of the trip was Universal’s Mardi Gras celebration. There are special food and beverage booths celebrating the flavors of New Orleans and a nightly Mardi Gras parade with amazing dancers, floats and lots of jazz music!

One of the easiest ways to save at Disneyland as well as Disney World is to bring in your own reusable water bottle! Both places get hot and with all the walking you want to be sure to stay hydrated. Bring your own bottle full of ice water and you can refill it at most quick service dining locations!

And for those picky eaters, you are able to bring your own snacks in as well. Throw in applesauce, fruit snacks, and even a PB&J into a soft sided cooler in your stroller and avoid those mid-day hangry meltdowns! Just remember that while ice packs are okay, loose ice is a no go at both parks!

🏝My favorite day onboard the brand new Odyssey of the Seas was our stop at Royal Caribbean's private island Coco Cay in the Bahamas.

🏝Just like the ship Coco Cay has something for everyone. If you feel like relaxing hang out at Chill Beach or swim up to the pool bar for a cocktail. If you prefer something more active then be sure to visit Thrill Waterpark with water slides that will get your adrenaline pumping.

🚢Today was fabulous getting to explore the brand new cruise ship The Scarlet Lady. This ship is part of Virgin Voyages, Richard Branson’s brand new adult only cruise line.

⚓️This luxury ship is built for adult fun. Delicious restaurants and vibrant bars and clubs. Amazing outdoor spaces for relaxation and sun. You can even play retro video games while having your favorite drink. When you are ready to get moving there is a spin studio, a fully equipped gym and an outdoor jogging track. After you burn some calories go relax in the spa before you do it all over again the next day.

🚢The staterooms are rock and roll and the perfect place to refresh and rest. Plus they feature the first hammock at sea on the balcony. The perfect place to take in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean.
