The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is sponsoring a 3-day Trapper Education Workshop conducted by the Arkansas Trappers Association and Southwest Arkansas Furtakers.
Dates: October 27-29
📍Location: Camp Clearfork, west of Hot Springs.
Subjects covered will include basic land and water trapping techniques, fur handling, and ethics.

SAVE THE DATE!! We are THRILLED to announce there will be a fireworks show on Sunday, July 2nd on the south end of the lake! We have been working for a few years to get one back on the south end to carry on the tradition and we have finally been able to secure a pyrotech, location, and date for this year!! Late this afternoon Arkansas' Crater of Diamonds State Park's search field received two inches of hard rain. This kind of downpour scours the search field. It washes silt away from diamonds and leaves them sitting exposed on the surface for visitors to find. It also flushes some diamonds down into the ditches and drains where they tend to collect with gravel. This makes conditions good for finding diamonds. If you are visiting the park soon, I wish you great success and hope you have a fun, treasure-hunting adventure.

Yesterday, Jim Hinkle Spring River State Fish Hatchery staff stocked the following locations on the Narrows Tailwater below Lake Greeson with Rainbow Trout -

Riverside - 850 fish
River Ridge - 850 fish
Hindsbluff - 850 fish
Old Factory - 850 fish
Low Water Bridge - 400 fish

Yesterday, Jim Hinkle Spring River State Fish Hatchery and Jim Collins Net Pen staff stocked the following locations on the Narrows Tailwater below Lake Greeson with Rainbow Trout -

Riverside - 1,865 fish
River Ridge - 1,865 fish
Hindsbluff - 1,865 fish
Old Factory - 1,300 fish
Low Water Bridge - 500 fish

Narrows Tailwater will be stocked again towards the beginning of next month.
