Travel Tips during Covid by Beth Skypeck
Travel is open but, with many new restrictions and guidelines. My first tip: Before scheduling your day of travel, look at what the Country you plan to visit requires. Also check the time frames for required covid tests and travel authorizations. I am traveling on a Wednesday and need to have a test within 5 days of travel. The first day I can take the test is Friday. Some labs are not open over the weekend so getting my test back in time is a little iffy as I have to download and submit the results to the Turks and Caicos Tourism Authority at least 24 hours prior to get the approval from the government back to fly. It would have been easier to travel over the weekend so I would have the week days for all the testing and paperwork. All islands and countries are different. Call me and I will assist not only with your travel but, also your travel logistics.

This is such a wonderful memory of a conversation I had with Mr. Butch Stewart, Chairman of Sandals and Beaches Resorts a few years ago on his yacht in the Bahamas. He was a wonderful man and a great supporter of the Travel community. Mr. Stewart will be missed by all who’s lives were touched by his generosity and kindness.
