It's been a crazy two Weeks of births and babies and I have loved it. The next few days I am joining my family and friends to memorialize and celebrate the 94+ years of my sweet Mothers life. She taught me "by heart" so much of what I do as a doula. I am both a little sad and greatly blessed. Sad in that I will miss her. Blessed for all she has instilled in me... And I will see her again....love you Mom. Xx

Yesterday at a birth I attended I was reminded how beautiful life is as I watched this man and wife moving together for hours in an indescribably awe filled union as they labored for the birth of a son ... now a new life breaths his first breaths and there are no words for such joy. Inspired is putting it mildly!
