The tour is up on the website at:

Some New Yorkers call Staten Island "The Forgotten Borough" - well, NOT BY US
As one of New York's Five Boroughs, we assure you, and we will show you why, it is definitely not forgotten, and why it is worth the trip.
*Admittedly, it is a bit of an excursion, coming and going, beginning with crossing the
entrance to New York's famed Upper Harbor, by way of New York's biggest suspension
bridge, The Verrazzano Narrows Bridge (featured prominently in the film "Saturday
Night Fever" - featuring the young Disco Dancing John Travolta)
*We will collaborate with you to choose from some of the following sites to create
your personal tour of Staten Island (please allow 6 hours for this tour, travel time included)
Sites and Stops can include:
~ The Alice Austen House and Museum
~ The St. George Neighborhood and Architecture - designated historic district and Staten Island ferry landing
~ The historic CONFERENCE HOUSE (c.1680) site of the failed negotiation by Ben Franklin & John Adams to prevent the Revolutionary War
~ The Moravian Cemetery, site of the Cornelius Vanderbilt Mausoleum (vaults are private, off-limits)
~ Old Richmond Town - a unique survivor, a 19th Century "time machine" and vivid window into 19th century rural life in NYC
~ Sailor's Snug Harbor - best collection of early Greek Revival buildings in America, including: Museum, Chinese Sculpture Garden,
Botanical Garden, beautiful grounds with Harbor Views - a treasure hiding in plain sight - a cultural campus, an oasis!
(note: Indie Film fans will recognize many location scenes from Whit Stillman's film "Damsels In Distress" starring Greta Gerwig)
~ see Richmond County Ballpark, home of the NY Yankees Class A Minor League Ball Club
~ good local pizza, and the best Cookie Bakery in NYC - Staten Island - worth the trip!
(We recommend reserving ahead to plan a visit, some sites subject to availability, open/closed days and times, cost of admission, etc.)
