Shamirrah Hardin holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Howard University and an M.A. Shamirrah is a certified K-12 theatre teacher who has studied theatre and dance through various training programs in California, Arizona, DC, New York, Puerto Rico and Ghana. In addition to being a theatre and dance teacher, Shamirrah is a seasoned stage play director and a
n accomplished performer. She has performed in countless concerts, stage plays, showcases and special events around the country as a dancer, actress, mime and poet. Shamirrah believes strongly in the power of theatre to inspire individuals, transform communities, and change lives. ANDY JEAN-GILLES

Andy Jean-Gilles is an actor, director, and playwright. He holds a BFA in Theater from New World School of the Arts. Andy is a professional actor and has performed in short films, commercials, and numerous stage performances in both Miami and New York City. He looks forward with excitement to see what beautiful treasures are in store for True Stages and the world! FARISO JORDAN
Co-Founder, Director of Marketing and Public Relations
A millennial that is avidly invested in the condition of the world, Fariso Jordan directs her creative talents towards telling stories that matter. She is an actress and playwright committed to engaging her feral inventiveness to create multi-sensory experiences that shift the spirits of her audience members. Recent credits include The Wedding Band, The Day Room, The Colored Museum, and Georgia, her one-woman play. While originally from Texas, Fariso Jordan moved to NYC to study theatre-performance at Fordham University. In addition to being a co-founder of True Stages Theatre Company, Fariso is the founder and director of Setting the Stage, a college-prep program for underrepresented high school students interested in studying theatre. She also serves as an advocate for the developmentally disabled community. Fariso will continue to use her zeal for the arts as a tool for social advocacy. NATASHA MCLEOD
Co-Founder, Director of Education
Natasha Mcleod is originally from Brooklyn, NY. Her love for the performing arts has been with her since she was in the 1st grade. Natasha is a theatre teacher who holds a bachelor's degree in Educational Theatre from New York University. She is honored to be able to combine one of the noblest professions with the craft that she loves. In addition to running the True Stages educational program, Natasha currently works for the New York City Department of Education and assists with the facilitation of the Wingspan Arts After School Program. Natasha makes it her mission to encourage the creativity of her students and to help them reach their full potential.
