The finance law for 2024, passed by the French Parliament on a proposal from the Government, establishes an additional tax to the tourist tax. This affects all municipalities in the Île-de-France region that impose an overnight tax. Consequently, the tourist tax rates applicable are modified as follows.


New rate (per person, per night):


Palace hotels - EUR 14.95

5 star - EUR 10.73

4 star - EUR 8.13

3 star - EUR 5.20

2 star - EUR 3.25

1 star - EUR 2.60


The new tourist tax applies with immediate effect to all stays from 1st January 2024, including any bookings made prior to this date.
