Disney offers many great extras you can add to your vacation package at 60 days out. One of those is a Happily Ever After Dessert Party. You have the choice of a pre, post, or during fireworks all-you-care-to-eat dessert, snacks, and refreshment bar (including select beer & wine) at the Tomorrowland Terrace.
Not only do you get a private dining experience, you also get exclusive access to a private firework watching area directly in front of the castle.
For our family, the post party was perfect. We got checked in and got our wristbands and found our way to the viewing area. We didn’t have to fight big crowds and we had a comfortable place to sit and park the stroller, which is a big plus during a busy time like spring break when we were there. When everyone else stood up, we stayed sitting in the back with plenty of room to move around. After the fireworks, we made our way to the terrace for desserts with no rush to eat quickly.

We did it! We successfully got the vacation out of the group chat! Super stoked for my clients traveling to Punta Cana in November to celebrate two 30th birthdays!

Flying with an infant in arms or just a little one in general? Here’s a few tips:
-bring plenty of snacks. TSA will permit you to bring through liquids for your infant/toddler including formula, milk, and applesauce.
-bring plenty of activities to do. We brought stickers, invisible markers, window clings, and we put Cars on the iPad for him to watch.
-gate check your stroller. Most major US based airlines will let you gate check your stroller for free. This was super helpful as we pushed him all the way down the jet bridge. Then it was waiting for us on the jet bridge at our final destination.
-board during family boarding. It took us a long time to get settled trying to fold up the stroller, get to our seats, and stow our carry on bags. One of our flights never made an announcement and we were embarrassed at how long we held up the line.
-get a window and middle seat. As much as he moved, there’s no way we could’ve had an aisle seat. But he loved to look out the window. 2 seats next to each other meant we could get a break when he wanted to sit with the other parent.
Any other tips you have for traveling with an infant or toddler?
Traveling with a child in a stroller at Disney? I highly recommend staying at a resort on the Skyliner. With at least one value, moderate, and deluxe resort there is something for everyone! Also, the Skyliner is one of the only types of transportation that you don’t have to fold up your stroller and it’s convenient taking you to either Hollywood Studios or Epcot!
