What a beautiful day! On our morning walk around the pond road. We saw a American Bittern and Mallard couple. The Tree Swallows are making their nests into the Big bird house. Tree frogs and birds are chirping. Wood Peckers are drumming on trees. What can be better than this!

It is Mama Goose first day on her nest. This is her tending to her nest and turning her eggs. Papa stands guard not far away protecting his family!

Weather Underground is prediction for next Tuesday into Thursday for up to over a foot of snow to hit us again. Spring will have to wait a little longer.. Great for those who Ski at Gore Mountain. Do not put your ski's away just yet!!

Snowing in the Adirondacks... We plowed and shoveled for our Gore Mountain TD guests early this morning so they could get out to Gore. Now to sit back and watch nature from our window. What a beautiful sight!!

Every Spring the same 3 geese couples come to our ponds to make it their home and raise their families. It is a wonderful feeling seeing them and waking up in the morning to the pond activities going on. It is enough to make you wake up early and take a stroll around the Alpine Loop road by the pond to enjoy nature's gifts.
