The Summer of 2022 brought out the worst in Renters & Guest - I'm really questioning if anyone knows how to behave/act anymore. Just because you have access to use something does not give you the right to tear it up. Self Responsibility is a thing. Be Better.

Dear Sea Cabin Homeowners,

We hope you are all doing well as we welcome this cooler weather to the South Carolina beaches.

Due to the recent issues related to the Sea Cabin pool and its closures, Coastal would like to provide the members with an update and explanation as to the cause of the closures.

Bearing in mind the age of the pool, the Board has approved several repairs to be made in 2022 in order to maintain the operation of the pool.
Below are some of the major repairs/replacements that have been made recently.

2/01/22 Replaced Metering Pump/ Pool Motor
3/23/22 Installed New Pool Filter Tank
6/14/22 Installed New MAXFLO Pool Pump

Please understand that each time an equipment part breaks, the pool must be shut down, and will be closed until the replacement part is shipped and can be installed by the pool company. In addition to breakdowns, and installation of new equipment, the pool company has
performed several chemical treatments caused by oils, and beach sand introduced into the pool water, by those not rinsing off from the beach.

There has also been suspicious activity, where someone has turned the pool pump motor off, again causing damage to equipment and clouding of the pool water due to non-circulation. A new lock has been installed
to ensure this damage does not happen again.

This week during the last shut down for the cloudy pool water, it appeared the pool had been vandalized. After closer inspection, they found that someone had poured a small pail of “ocean sand” into the skimmers. This again, not only clouded up the pool water but caused damage to the equipment to the point the pool had to be shut down again.

We assure all Sea Cabin owners, that the Board, Coastal and the CPO/
TA King Pool Company are doing all that we can to determine the cause of these issues, and resolve them so that all Sea Cabin owners and guests may enjoy the pool while on property.

We are pleased to announce that the pier is open for use. Your security pass will allow access effective today, Friday June 11th,2021. For your enjoyment the
pier will be open 24/7.

Due to the shortened version of our pier, each person will be allowed to fish no more than two rods, which must be attended to at all times. Violation of this rule may result in the loss of the pier fishing privilege.

Word is there are repairs underway on the remaining intact section of the pier. It possibly could be open within 2 weeks. 🤞🏻
