Vision North Port is a citizen-based, community organization whose vision is to unite the city, county, and community residents through a grassroots, community-initiated vision and master planning process which will result in the growth and preservation of North Port as a high quality of life, environmentally attractive, and economically viable community. The organization is focused on creating a
forum where dialogue can occur and therefore encourage community engagement. Anyone interested in participating in North Port's future (as an observer or active participant) is encouraged to join our email list to stay informed about our activities which include monthly meetings open to all who wish to attend. Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. The meeting schedule typically includes a social period (5:30 - 6:00) followed by announcements and updates on current activities and committee progress. The floor is then opened for discussion about what the attendees would like to see in North Port.
