Tulips for daysssss at Commissioner's Park! This is just one of literally dozens of beds filled with 1,000's of tulips!
Practice time at the RCMP Musical Ride Center. And no, the voice in the background is not tour director Alyssa instructing the group on how to load the bus (keep a tight line...find your spot....) 😉😄
Wow, wow, wowsers, holy cannoli, wowsers! It is NOT whale season, and we did NOT book a whale watch because at this time of year, it is a "wildlife and nature" cruise (because the whales are not here!). So, imagine our excitement when both of our tours saw 3 pods, and 13 killer whales today! We were all BEYOND excited!!
We have also learned a lot since we've been here about the difference between The three main types of killer whales in the North Pacific: Resident, Transient, and Offshore. Each ecotype differs in appearance, diet, habitat, genetics, and behavior. The whales we saw today were called Orcas, but are now categorized as Bigg's transient killer whales.
We started at our day with a visit to the Space Needle. This iconic structure was built for the 1962 World's Fair. Stepping onto the glass revolving floor was quite an experience!!
At 605 ft high the Space Needle was once the tallest structure west of the Mississippi River.
Elevators take visitors to an observation deck 520 ft (160 m) above ground in 41 seconds, which offers panoramic views of the downtown Seattle skyline, the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, Mount Rainier, Mount Baker, Elliott Bay, and various islands in Puget Sound. On April 19, 1999, the city's Landmarks Preservation Board designated the tower a historic landmark.

We're Live! Lots of exciting news!
We're ready! Lots of updates, news, and a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
A few more fun photos from our final night together! What can I say??? There were smiles all around last night, it was a room filled with laughter, joy, and happiness. From Rob wearing the magic sparkle pants (which by the way...Kelly bought, but Jenny and Rob have been the ones to wear them!!😂), to a delicious meal, to a fun game of "Jingle Bell Ball Catchers" (I just made that name up), and finally, our gift exchange.....it was a night to remember!
