Social Work Clinical Supervision I was employed in the child welfare system for over 15 years and have a vast knowledge on trauma centered counseling.

LCSW SUPERVISION GROUP

Ongoing, weekly, 90 minute supervision group offered to assist MSW professionals in obtaining their required LCSW supervisory hours and/or a group for additional supervision. Topics will include the following:

-Reflection of past education, internships and past/current job/s and how they impacted your development as a professional
-DSM IV diagnosis skill building
-Ethics

-Utilizing evidence based practices
-Taking a strength based approach
-Reviewing counseling modalities from individual, couple and groups
-Case presentations
-Building your own private practice

Applying to insurance panels
Marketing
Networking
-Resume design and career building
-Community resources and networking

I graduated from Loyola University in 1999 and have been Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2001. I am presently working in a hospital setting with veterans who have a serious mental illness. I have experience supervising MSW students in their second year field placements. I have a part time private practice in Oak Park seeing a multiple range of clients. The group meets every Saturday from 10:00 to 11:30am at 6601 North Avenue in Oak Park. The fee is $40.00 per group.
