We just learned that former WFC Member Caylen Dyni has been selected to attend F-35 pilot training with the US Air Force! Caylen learned to fly in N7770G (our former club airplane) in Oshkosh with CFI John Dorcey. He then attended Western Michigan University as an ROTC cadet, graduating as a second lieutenant. Caylen is the son of Chip and Dena Dyni, controllers at Oshkosh. Congratulations to Caylen and his parents. Caylen is pictured with a T-38 he flew.

The club hangar is C-5, which is located at the south end of the "C" row of T-hangars.

Following the business meeting, club CFI John Dorcey will demonstrate and discuss both the exterior and interior lighting for N7088G.

We hope to see you there!

His designated examiner was Shane Lehman, and the test originated at the Clintonville airport. Jim worked long and hard to achieve the instrument rating, and his perseverance paid off. Congratulations to Jim for a job well done. Congrats also to Jim's instructor Tim Lemke.

The December meeting of the Winnebago Flying Club will be held on Tuesday, December 6 at the Wittman Regional Airport Terminal Building in Oshkosh. The meeting will start at 6PM instead of the usual 6:30 PM start time; the reason for the earlier start time is because we need to complete our business meeting prior to the FAA safety seminar, which is held in conjunction with our club meeting. Congrats to Denver Scott on earning his Private Pilot Certificate on Monday! Remember that awesome sunset recently? Yea, Denver was just finishing up the flight portion with that amazing backdrop. Club CFI John Dorcey started flying with Denver and when 70G went away he started flying with CFI Michelle Wrobeleski out of Fond du Lac. She became his recommending instructor, soloed Denver using a Fond du Lac Skyport Cessna 172, and helped Denver reach his goal. Great job to all!
