You can't see this. But trust us, it's fabulous. This iconic Palm Springs building is currently undergoing extensive work. The iconic Bank of America building designed by Rudi Baumfeld in 1959 on South Palm Canyon Drive is more flintstones cartoon than bank, and when not covered in scaffolding is instantly recognizable thanks to its blue tiles and stone-look slab roof inspired by Le Corbusier’s Ronchamp Chapel in France. We're not sure what it's going to look like when it's done, but here's hoping it's like this… Only better.
