Regency Cabanas HOA Page will be used as another avenue for the Board of Directors to send information to our community members.

We do not have any information on rentals. Each unit in our community is individually owned.

Just a reminder to be sure to send in your proxy with vote ASAP. All work on the big pool is at a stand still unless we get an approval from 2/3 of the homeowners by the meeting on 2/24 and collect funds by 3/1.

Some rough weather passed through overnight here. Tornado activity close by. The pond is filled to the brim and there are lots of puddles around the property. At first glance, doesn’t seem to be any damage to buildings. The South Gate isn’t currently receiving power. It has been manually opened and will remain open until the issue can be further assessed and repaired.

The North gate was apparently hit from the inside sometime on Saturday. It is now bent and will be non-functioning until it can be fixed and reinstalled

Just a heads up both Security gates are now functioning properly! We know it has taken a while to get the part and have the South Gate fixed. Tim checked all the codes this morning so before you call MHS and say the gate is “Broken” please ensure you are using the correct code.

You may have noticed the signs for an “Executive Session” this weekend. The board members are holding a phone meeting to discuss some needed changes to the budget prior to approving the Annual Budget. We will have a separate budget meeting in the next few weeks to review the budget and vote to approve it. We will post the notice for that meeting two weeks prior. Feel free to reach out with questions.

You may have noticed that the dumpsters near the South entrance to the community are over flowing. This is because ECUA was not able to empty them because the truck in the picture below was blocking them. Please park within the lines painted. If this is your truck or you know whose truck this is please let them know this is effecting everyone. Thank you.

A huge shout out to the Community Members that came to the Community Clean Up day and helped out. They worked for about 2 hours but got a tremendous amount of work done and the areas they cleaned up look awesome. The work they accomplished in 2 hours would have probably taken Tim 15 hours to complete alone. We all really appreciate the effort and we look forward to doing it again in the spring with a Community BBQ after.

Good morning. We wanted to let everyone know that we will need to close the “Big Pool” on Monday and possibly Tuesday of next week in order to complete a repair. The Small Pool will still be open during that time. Have a great weekend!

Sorry for the late post on this, but Knox pest control will be on site today and the second Tuesday of every month to spray the property for bugs. If you would like your garage sprayed please simply have your garage open by 9:30am and they will spray in it. Tim walks around with them while they are on site. Thank you.

We are sad to relay that the Cookout planned by The Serpas’ this weekend has been cancelled due to Hurricane Ida. The Serpas’ will be occupied with helping the members of their Louisiana family and friends. They stated they plan to reschedule in the future.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone effected by the storm.

Just a reminder that all Dogs must be on a leash everywhere on Pensacola beach to include the confines of our community. We have had a few incidents of dogs not on leashes charging people and other dogs in the community. This can be a scary situation even if your dog is friendly. Please ensure you renters and guests are aware of this. Thank you.

Susan Watkins is the Animal Control office on Pensacola Beach and her number is 850-382-3761. Please do not hesitate to contact her with any issues.

We wanted to let everyone know that we will have on site security again on Saturday from 7am to 4pm for the Blue Angel’s Air Show. Please let them know if you have any issues. Have a great weekend!

We wanted to let everyone know that we will have on site security this weekend from 2pm-10pm on both Saturday and Sunday. They will be on property the entire time to ensure people are not parking on the grass and enjoying the property responsibly. If you have any issues please find them on the property. If there is an issue after 10pm please contact the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office. Have a Happy 4th of July!

There are four dumpsters on our property. If a dumpster is full please utilize another dumpster. Please help us out with this. ECUA Will not pick up anything outside the dumpster. The dumpster next to it was empty.

Just a reminder that all dogs on Pensacola Beach must be on leashes outside of the home. The two dog beaches are the only designated areas that dogs are allowed to be off of a leash. We have had a couple of reports of incidents with dogs off of leashes. It does not matter how well behaved your dog is, it is an SRIA ordinance. Please communicate this to your renters. Thanks for your understanding.

Please, please, please ask your renters to not allow their children to throw the decorative white rocks into the big pool. This has been a reoccurring issue and is a huge waste of time to have Tim spend his time cleaning rocks out of the pool. If you see kids doing this please help us by asking them to not do it. We really appreciate your help on this matter.

We wanted to remind everyone that the June gate codes are now in the entry gates and the May codes will no longer work to open the gates. Please ensure you renters and guests are using the correct codes. The gates are working properly. Have a great day!

We want to let everyone know that we have an Escambia County Sheriff on site tonight and tomorrow night ensuring everyone enjoys the holiday respectfully and responsibly. Please feel free to speak with him if there are any issues on the property tonight or tomorrow. Happy Memorial Day!

We want to remind everyone that the gates are working properly and are tested daily for functionality. If the wrong entry code is entered three times you need to wait 60 seconds before it will allow you to enter the correct code. We are constantly getting calls about the gate not working and 95% of the time it is operator error. Please pass this information on to your rental companies.

If you placed these items in front of the dumpsters they need to be moved immediately. The truck cannot pick up the dumpster with these blocking the way and ECUA will not pick up these items unless specially coordinated. Please move them immediately. If you did coordinate a pick up please move them to the side. Thank you.

The HOA Board wanted to reach out and ask that if you have had repairs completed from Hurricane Sally and you still need to paint please get that completed prior to Memorial Day Weekend. All of the paint colors can be found at Sherwin Williams in Gulf Breeze and the colors are as follows:
Regency Cabanas Gold (Main color)
Regency Cabanas Dark Brown (Doors)
Regency Cabanas China White (Trim)

We will also be reaching out to individual owners on this, if you hear from us we are not singling you out. We are looking at all units. Thanks for your understanding.
