Scotch & a pumpkin
Do you think Scotch is happy? He just loves hanging on the picnic table in the sun surrounded by his pumpkins.
Good day to hunker at home, pat my cat on my lap, and listen to the freezing rain & sleet hit the windows, and enjoy the snap, crackle, pop of my fire. 🔥 Summer is just around the corner believe it or not! Weeks are available at Wildflower Cottage for the season June -October, 2023.

Oh what a big wind storm over Boyden Lake!
Damp, chilly, and absolutely delightful.
Dad & his tractor with this new freshly peeled cedar pole.
Now we can add Rhubarb Festival to this amazing list of happenings Way Downeast! Well at least this year. :) I love these fun, locally-focused business ads that Jeff Demmons puts together for WQDY and WCRQ radio stations serving Washington County in Maine and Charlotte County in New Brunswick, Canada! There is a whole series of them and they do, "just make sense" as Jeff says.
With a few practice sessions and Jeff's guidance, I pulled this off in one take! Small businesses supporting small businesses. It is what rural economics is all about.
Big shout out to Lupe Soto Audio-Video Productions for formatting this so I could upload it to Facebook.
Iceboating on Boyden Lake!
The end of another very busy & full season!
Now I get to enjoy sunsets myself down by the lake. Ahhhh!
My favorite place in the world!
Very few cats could tolerate a vacuum and a hammer but not The Seamster!
Watercress Cottage on Boyden Lake.
The poppies that look like they’re made of bright orange taffeta are popping!
And they are off! Look at this ice and our beautiful iceboats.
