My first FAM trip!! I have had the privilege of spending several days at UNICO in the Riviera Maya. Words cannot explain the beauty of this place. I’m sitting on my balcony this morning as I write this and it’s pure bliss as I feel the ocean breeze, listen to the birds and watch the people.

A windy and cold final full day with Travel Connections Group Tours in Iceland heated up with a swim in the geothermal Sky Lagoon overlooking the Atlantic Ocean where the water was hot and the air was cold and blowing snow—what an experience!
After free time in Reykjavik, we had a farewell dinner, followed by an impromptu party at an Irish Pub!
Tomorrow we fly home following an indescribable journey!

Travel Connections Group Tours is still in incredible Iceland!
Today we visited Diamond Beach where small pieces of icebergs—thousands of years old—dot the volcanic ash beach. A large piece came back to the hotel where drinks were served on the rocks—chipped from one of these enormous “ice diamonds.”
Then it was off to glacier lagoon where the icebergs—some zebra striped from the volcanic ash—were right there. A seal took a swim by and locale cuisine was sampled.
Another great dinner at our very very remote hotel.
Sideways blowing snow prohibited the night of chasing the northern lights, but the TC gang had a great time at the hotel lounge!
Tomorrow it’s the beautiful Sky Lagoon!

Another windy and full day with Travel Connections Group Tours—discovering ICELAND!
Today started with a visit to the black sand beach, the Trolls rock formations, the natural stone arch, hiking to a glacier, spectacular views from atop a mountain and a late night (very windy and cold!) chase for the
northern lights after dinner. Plus fermented shark tasting and schnapps before another delicious meal.
A great group of travelers are sharing laughs, making memories and friends!
More to come!!!

Travel Connections Group Tours is in amazing Iceland with Tour Director Don Grant Zellmer.
Geysers, a flash of the northern lights, waterfalls and otherworldly landscapes, were chasing the northern lights by night and adventuring by day.
Mother Nature has been keeping this big group on its toes—today we experienced sun and temperate times, blowing snow, pouring rain and freezing winds. Several times! What a place!
